RETHINKING THE CONCEPT OF SHOCK PROTECTION
protections generally placed in protective jackets are rigid or semi-rigid, used PVC or rubber base. Although they are generally all approved CE, but they remain in the category so-called ‘’passive’’ protection:
- They are extremely rigid and give the feeling of being protected because they form a sort of "shell", without effectively absorb the impact and shock waves in the event of a fall.
- Or they are quite flexible but thick making them very uncomfortable
The integration of d3o™ protections offers two major advantages:
- Active and intelligent protection. The d3o™ molecules remain flexible as you are moving, but if in shock, they bind to absorb the energy of impact and shock waves.
- Flexible protection, lightweight and comfortable: d3o™ protections are certified CE. For purposes of comparison with different thicknesses (classic CE protection : 12 mm and d3o™ protection : 8 mm): the d3o™ has a capacity to absorb shock 2 times |

RETHINKING THE CONCEPT OF PROTECTION AGAINST COLD AND ELEMENTS
All jackets RACER® include a removable Polartec® lining: polar whose weight/heat level is the highest in the market. Moreover, it is highly breathable, easy to maintain (washing machine) and very light.
Finally RACER® has developed a specific membrane 100% waterproof and breathable : Rsoft-Dry™ whose performance in 7000 amounted schmerberg.
